This note has the earlier and scarcer Series 1929 officer pair of Cashier Earle W. Stamm and President R.A. Armstrong. The later officer duo found on notes of this charter number is that of Cashier Stamm and President William H. Reeves. Reeves assumed the presidency in 1929, so only the very earliest Type 1 notes will have the engraved signature of President Armstrong. Stamm and Reeves remained in office together beyond the note issuing period.
