Owner's Description

This 1934A $20 brown seal Federal Reserve Note was a limited issue for use in Hawaii during World War II. Issued in July 1942 in the event of potential invasion and occupation of the US territory of Hawaii by Japanese forces. If occupation occurred, the notes could be deemed worthless by the US government.
