Owner's Description

This is a beautiful mid-grade Date Back Note from the Mechanics-American National Bank of St. Louis, Missouri. The blue color is brilliant, and the signatures are wonderful and artistic. The reverse shows a little more wear, resulting in the overall grade of 35. I really like the depiction on the back of the landing of the Pilgrims - one of my favorites. Acquired at Heritage auction in May 2013.
