Lancaster, PA The Northern NB Ch. # (E)3367 SN 1 REPLACEMENT NOTE PMG 12 Net Paper Pulls $5 1902 DB Fr. 590 SN 1/N47978 pp B/147 June 20, 1905 One of only two serial number 1 notes known on this bank. The other one is a $5 1902 Plain Back and it is listed in the Track & Price census as a note in Good condition. This Date Back $5 with light penned signatures of E.J. Ryder, Cashier and J. Fredk. Sener, President, is well used with paper pulls; the Northern obviously sent its SN 1 notes into circulation. In total, only a dozen notes are confirmed on this bank that was voluntarily liquidated in February 1923.
