Obverse: Imperial Seal of Japan (kikukamon) - a stylised chrysanthemum blossom. Pigeons in flight.
Obverse Color: Black on blue underprint.
Reverse: Sun symbol. National Diet (Parliament) building in Nagata-cho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo.
Reverse Color: Light red-brown.
Signatures: Red signature seal.
Issuer: Bank of Japan (Nippon Ginko).
Date of issue: 5 September 1947.
Withdrawn: 31 December 1953.
