Owner's Description

Obverse: Mount Fuji (Fuji-san; Fujiyama). Imperial Seal of Japan (kikukamon) - a stylised chrysanthemum blossom. Blossoms of the Japanese cherry, Prunus serrulata, which is commonly called sakura. Vertical text reads: "AD2598" or "Former Year 2598".
Obverse Color: Black on yellow and blue underprint.
Reverse: Central denominational rosette of guilloche patterns in a form of a hexagram bearing banknote's denomination in Japanese characters and two leafy circular rosettes with denominations "50".
Reverse Color: Olive
Signatures: Imperial Treasury red signature seal.
