Owner's Description

Obverse: Imperial Seal of Japan (kikukamon) - a stylised chrysanthemum blossom at top center. Yumedono Pavilion (Hall of Dreams) in Ikaruga, Nara, which was once Prince Shotoku's private palace, Ikaruga no miya bottom left. Portrait of Prince Shotoku-taishi (Umayato) on the right. Red stylized Japanese plum blossoms (Ume) bottom center.
Obverse Color: Black on brown underprint of leaves.
Reverse: Horyu-ji Temple in Ikaruga, Nara, Japan. Sun symbol.
Reverse Color: Lilac
Signatures: Imperial Treasury red signature seal.
