Owner's Description

Obverse: Portrait of Sun Yat-Sen at center (1866-1925). Serial # on face only. Black signature (19.12.1941) with two red treasury seals on bottom.
Obverse Color: Pink and Blue underprint.
Reverse: Dr. Sun Yat-Sen’s Mausoleum (center) is situated at the foot of the second peak of Purple Mountain in Nanjing, China. Construction of the tomb started in January 1926, and was finished in spring of 1929.
Reverse Color: Pink
Signatures: Qian Dakui (1898-1952) "T.K. Chien" (Vice Governor); Zhou Fuhai (1897-1948) (Zhou Fohai, Chou Fo-hai, Chou Fuhai) "F.H. Chow" (Governor).
Printing method: Intaglio.
