This is one gorgeous silver certificate with the famous or infamous red "s" indicating it is an Experimental S series. Only the slight off-center prevented this note from being GEM 65. What a beauty.

Always an honor to own a Flynn note. Everytime I see a Flynn note, I will carefully examine it as a replacement or new addition since he is the King of Kings. The 2008 Rosemont auction was astounding. His collection started at Fr. #1 and ended a thousand notes later. He collected virtually every known note and every variation of all known notes. I really have a hard time understanding the passion, desire and money he invested to make a complete collection all the way from tremendous rarities to run of the mill common notes. His eye was always keen though so it is a note I would buy sight unseen.

PMG has graded only 146 of the far more rare mules from the Fr. 1701 $10 silver certificate. This has wonderful eye appeal as arguable one of the most attractive small notes post 1930. The $10 silver certificates have eye appeal galore.
