This Richmond $5 note replaces the antique I inherited from my grandfather. I promised not to replace it since it is such a common note but one has to look carefully. If you look at the score for $5 FRN's almost all Fr #'s have low scores at all grades due to how common this note is...However, the RICHMOND 1914 $5 FRN has only 3 notes graded higher than this. Also this note was graded 40 by PCGS and PMG took it down a notch. All around great note with scores far higher due to how uncommon it is. I keep looking for uncommon, common notes using the PMG scoring system and for $370, I am happy with the result.

I inherited this from my Grandfather that, for some reason, saved a few notes in horrible condition. However, it was so gratifying to receive them graded in a new holder. Like I had preserved some of the family history.

From the famous Doug Murray Collection for $599. Doug had an eye for notes similar to Thomas Flynn. I pay premiums for these notes and retain the pedigree. They could choose notes that always were better than the grade. PMG graded 22 of this rare note with only 4 of a higher grade. And the highest grade was a 55 EPQ. This note looks pretty good now!
