My world note effort is focused on virtually any colony with currency that has an image of the young Queen Elizabeth II. I believe these note's value has staying power because of the length of the Queen's legacy on the throne. What an inspirational lady. I try to stay away from her useless brother, King George, whom abdicated. Not because he abdicated but because he was a bloody Nazi sympathizer.

I continue to be fascinated with currency from the Bahamas, where my Uncle was once the U.S. ambassador. However, it is the wonderful images of Queen Elizabeth II in various stages of her life. Obviously we love the notes that portray her as a young, newly crowned monarch. Wonderful colors on this note.

This is a gorgeous version of this note. A rare find indeed. Nice that the Bahamas has shillings, pounds and then dollars. Paid $211 for this note.

In my opinion, this is one of the finest ocean themed reverses combined with color and the crown seal only adds to the famous Monarch in her youthful rendition on the obverse.

Denominations of $5 or greater increase in price exponentially for the Bahama's. One has to throw their heart into collecting Bahama notes. They are truly gorgeous, colorful thematic and my Uncle was the US ambassador to the Bahama's. I stayed at the ambassador's residence in the Bahama's so I'll always have a special place in my heart!

I love QE2 and still believe her early, younger images on colonial currency will hold value.
