Heritage Auctions, was surprised it sold for as much it did. This was the final note needed for my completion. It retains a good deal of color and is problem free. It's amazing to me that this note is 150 years old and looks the way it does.

The last of the large size notes. These red seals are less common than their counterpart the 1923 silver horseblanket. A decent note for the grade.

One of my favorite series aside from the 1899 series silvers. I enjoy the 1923 $5 dollar "porthole" note. This note maintains much of its originality in color, embossing, and quality.

My favorite series in all the large notes. I am proud to say I have a completed type set of all three $1, $2, and $5. This "mini-porthole" is an attractive note for the grade.

The 1906 is a gem in my opinion. Though not as beautiful as the 1905 Technicolor the 1906 has a significantly less amount of printing than it's 1922 cousin. This note maintains EXCELLENT gold back color for the grade. It's graded in an older PMG holder and I would imagine this to upgrade if resubmitted.

One of my favorite reverses in the "modern" large size notes. The flying eagle to me represents freedom, courage, and justice.

The only fractional piece I own. I wasn't keen on getting them for this set it in my opinion are more of a stamp/currency than straight metallic or legal tender. Created in response to the coinage shortage during the civil war, this note is one of the only fractional pieces that doesn't denote a clause to pay for postage and instead can be used as general currency.

The first year small size currency. As mentioned in my description for this set, I have types of each of the smaller sized notes however each are raw and thus I can't display in this registry. However the 1928 redseal is a less common note and costly in any grade compared to the other small sized notes. With that being said, I decided to get one graded for the set. Printed and only circulated in Puerto Rico these notes retain a decent amount of popularity. A decent example of a problem free note.
