Brenham is where many of my many European ancestors ended up settling. It's about 50 miles down the road from my current home in College Station, TX.

Out in the high desert of west Texas, this bank has only 6 large notes known. The seat of Howard County out in the vastness of west Texas is Big Spring. This charter issued $990,670 in its years of operation from 1902-1934. One of the other Charters, Ch# 12543, spelled the city name, apparently the correct way, without the "s" on the end. You'd think the bankers could agree on the city name.
