Paris is a home rule-class city in Bourbon County, KY. It lies 18 miles northeast of Lexington on the Stoner Fork of the Licking River. Sharp for a state capital BB and only 5 $10BB in the NBN Census. Pen signatures. Kenneth Clark's signature as President (1897-1912) is faded but readable. Harry W. Parker signed as Assistant Cashier. He holds the Cashier's position from 1905-1915. The Super Radar SN K34343K places this note's production in the early summer of 1904 consistent with Parker's signature as an Assistant Cashier. Paris, AR The First NB Ch. # (S)11592 PMG 20 $10 1902 PB Fr. 633 SN 2200/U55355 pp B/96? Jan. 20, 1920 radar treasury SN and a scarce bank in large size (7 notes), with this the only denomination issued. Track & Price reports that the last offering of any large note was a Fine 12 which fetched $646 when it sold in 2018. This piece, with its bright two-color pen signatures of Lewis C. Sadler, Cashier and L.B. Crenshaw, Pres., is far nicer. Named after the French capital, Paris serves as the county seat for the northern district of Logan County; its southern district counterpart is Booneville.
