Toronto, OH The NB Ch. # 8826 PMG 30 $20 1929 Ty 1 SN A000288A pp G30/58. A mis-placed town name and high quality note from this Jefferson County bank with only 19 small notes recorded. A.R. Roberts, Cashier and R.C. Cassidy, President. This nice $20 along with a SN 3 $20 among the few series of 1929 notes reported for this scarce two bank community that was closed by the receiver in 1931. Only 419 sheets of $20s; the bank organized 7/30/07 and entered receivership before the Ty. 2 era. Nice VF with some crispness remaining in the paper but didn't measure up to an EPQ for some reason.
