Plate letter in two positions: right of Harrison's portrait and left of counter (In-In). Stacked signatures of treasury officials below UNITED STATES. Bureau Engraving & Printing upper right. Dark penned signatures of Chas. A. Sheldon, Cashier and S. (Samuel) Hemmingway, President. In 1899, Hemmingway replaced long-serving president Arthur D. Osborne.
