Owner's Description
The representative note is a 5 pesos note (S176b) dated 1st August 1916 and signed by Mariano J. Lopez and Leon de Leon Flores (Directors) and Juan S. Lara (Manager). The front of the note depicts a scene representing industry and agricultural production and the associated trade alongside the coat of arms and a quetzal – the national bird and the name used for the currency in use today. The back is an intricate design incorporating the bank name.
