This series features a Rios/Lew signature combination.

Rosa “Rosie” Gumataotao Rios was the 43rd Treasurer of the United States, serving from August 6, 2009 to July 11, 2016. She was appointed by President Barack Obama.

Jacob J. “Jack” Lew was the 76th Secretary of the Treasury, serving from February 28, 2013 to January 20, 2017. He was appointed by President Barack Obama.


MEANWHILE, AT THE FED...

Janet L. Yellen was Chair of the Federal Reserve when this note was printed. Initially appointed by President Barack Obama, she worked under two Presidents, serving from February 3, 2014 to February 3, 2018. Yellen remains the first and only woman to serve as Chair of the Federal Reserve. She would later serve as Secretary of the Treasury, making her the second person to serve as both Fed Chair and Treasury Secretary.
