Owner's Description

This note was acquired to show the look of the note after they started adding colors to it.

The use of this design started in 2006. So far this note design has been in use for 14 years - beating the 6 years of the prior design but unlikely to challenge the 71 year run of the design in use at the time of my birth.

Overall I like the design but I think these newer note designs suffer from being half-measures. They're still trying to look like the old notes / old money and keep the green color and a lot of the old overall design and layout while trying to look more modern. As a result, they look like they still have a foot stuck in the past and don't visually compete well with what you see coming out of the rest of the world - some of which is quite beautiful.
