Abington, MA The Abington NB Ch. # (N)1386 $10 1902 DB Fr. 616 PMG 25 Repeater SN 1302/N773773 pp E/133 dtd. June 18, 1905. Signatures of G.R. Farrar as Cashier and Vice President W.S. O'Brien noted. Alphabetically, Abington is the first town listed for NBs in MA and a paltry 5 large size notes are known for this bank despite issues from 1865 to 1935! The only series of 1902 date back and a very desirable $10 Date Back at that! Ex Marvin R. Levine and at least one other person before me.
