Newport, NH The FNB Ch. # 888 PMG 20 $5 1902 PB Fr. 598 SN 21892 pp F/1378 Feb. 18, 1905. PBs tougher than DBs. Stamped signatures of Sam D. Lewis, Cashier and John McCrillis, Pres. The verticle "solid 8's" charter number is characterized by two different styles of 8; the middle 8 is symmetrical while the flanking 8s have slightly smaller top loops.
