A very scarce Portland bank which issued First Charters, Brown Backs, and Red Seals only before closing in 1908. Rubber stamped signatures are of Cashier John A. Mellor and President Henry C. Fry. They served together from 1900-25.

Rome, NY The Farmers NB and TC Ch. # 2410 PMG 25 $10 1929 Ty 2 SN A004884 pp L206/138. This bank decided to only issue Type 2 Nationals in small size, even though it was originally chartered in 1879, and issued several different large size types.
