Mountville, PA The Mountville NB Ch. # (E)3808 Solid 5s and VP signed PMG 15 Net Split $5 1882 BB Fr. 470 SN 5555/R326183R pp A/7 dtd. Nov. 4, 1887. Vice President signed, Solid 5s and one of only 3 $5 BBs from this Lancaster Co. Bank make this a note with multiple levels of interest. Beautiful penned signatures of J.H. Witmer, Cashier and C.C. Seitz, Vice President (John M. Froelich would have been Pres.).

Quarryville, PA The Quarryville NB Ch. # (E)3067 $20 1902 Red Seal Fr. 639 PMG 15 SN 1616/N819423 pp A/76 dated May 6, 1903. This is only the sixth large size note to be reported from this scarce Lancaster County bank and the first $20 Red Seal. It has been circulated and has a couple of minor repairs but the red overprint is bold and signatures of A.S. Harkness, cashier, and Frank W. Helm, President have faded, but remain quite legible.
