Who can compete with Free Comic Book Day, perhaps Local Comic Shop Day? There could be a storm a brewing, but in those "dark" clouds lie a silver horse with a dark shadow. DARK HORSE!! It's everyone's famous 3rd tier publisher, although it is tied with the likes of Valiant and Image, and a few others. I'm just glad they are well off enough to celebrate and participate in helping the LCS to get people interested in comics! FOR "FREE!" There are even some 1st appearances in them their hills.

Those are tough words given all the series that are available and that we can still afford to give them away for some fun, no spoilers of course. Freebie's on any day make for good equality and especially when it comes to comics, comics, comics. Fun to be had and read to remember. It can be an excursion to the Local Store with family, friends, and pets of course, and as for the owners, who are there to serve and dish it all out as the best they can, to enjoy. Contributions in sales can hope to match the expectations, hopefully, and to encourage more events sponsored and even precious memories. Seems also a bit of an ample opportunity to meet up and enjoy some dinners as well afterward, as it is usually an all-day event, and some leftovers may be possible even days later. Depending on the venue, that is certainly possible!
