The note received a net grade for tape repair on the reverse, pinholes and rust.

This original series National Bank Note has held up well for 140+ years. It displays a bright red seal and serial number. Despite being a rather common charter for small size nationals; when I purchased the note in 2009, Heritage Auctions listed it as one of two original series $1 notes reported to date for this charter. There are very few remaining notes of this charter from the original series.
