Owner's Description

From Seller:

Very choice "FOUR DOLLARS" February 17, 1776 Continental Colonial Currency Note with superb eye-appeal for the given grade.

Boldly penned 5-digit serial number 95177 in red ink, as is the signature of Thomas Leech, while that of John Howard is written in dark brown ink in a very strong hand.

Darkly inked on both sides on bright ragpaper and with no obvious folds.
Bold & colorful hand-written signatures and serial number.

The "charging boar toward the tip of the spear" is extremely clear & bold.

Authentic & historical item issued during the Revolutionary War, and just a few days away from the signing of the Declaration of Independence and its ratification.
