Owner's Description
Connecticut CT-236 July 1, 1780 2s 6d Hole Cancelled PMG 63EPQ SN 6140. A bright Connecticut note with a tight top margin and strong red SN and ink signatures of C.B. Payne and George Wyllys even after 2 and a half centuries. Other more common 1780 signers include Chester and Pitkin. There's no endorsing signature on the back. Hole Cancelled.
