Owner's Description

Obverse: Imperial Seal of Japan (kikukamon) - a stylised chrysanthemum blossom also symbolizing the Land of the Rising Sun. Decorative interlaced ornamental guilloche patterned frame. Onagadori cock at left, Paulownia tomentosa flowers at right, (common names princess tree, empress tree, or foxglove-tree, is a deciduous tree in the family Paulowniaceae, native to central and western China). Red serial numbers.
Obverse Color: Black on pink and yellow underprint
Reverse: Decorative interlaced ornamental guilloche patterns and rosettes
made with lathework.
Reverse Color: Brown
