High Grade!
The tolar was the currency of Slovenia from October 1991 until the introduction of the euro in January 2007. The definitive tolar banknotes—which were issued starting in late 1992—were brightly colored and famous for celebrating prominent historical figures in Slovenian arts, science, and politics.
The obverse depicts Primož Trubar who was a Slovene Protestant Reformer of the Lutheran tradition, mostly known as the author of the first Slovene language printed book and for consolidating the Slovenian language.
The reverse depicts the Ursuline Church of the Holy Trinity in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, built between 1718 and 1726 in the Baroque style.
