Owner's Description

This is the elusive pride of my collection with very few survivors. This $100 note is a VF25. I think it could be a 35 because it's a vety clear & clean example. The annotation on the front of the note is most likely a bankers counter number. It's a 7. Banks used to mark the their notes when they counted them. This doesn't detract from this fabulous note. Can you imagine how few people have ever seen or held a note in this denomination? You could buy a house in many parts of the country in 1935 for less than $100. The back of this note has allegorical figures and items to represent the transportation industry in Canada.
