Owner's Description

A blue paper denomination issued in 1993 features various decorative patterns on the front. The five-dinar note's emblem contrasts the defensive mentality of the past with a contemporary open approach. Riffa Fort, built by Sheikh Salman bin Ahmad Al-Fateh in 1816, appears on the front, while the back shows Bahrain International Airport, a key hub for air transport in the Gulf region.
