Potsdam, NY The NB Ch. # 868 PMG 12 $1 Series of 1875 Fr. 383 Allison | New SN 872/A230196 pp A dtd. July 1st, 1865. Staining upper right corner. L (Luke) Usher, Cashier and B (Bloomfield) Usher, President. Only two banks for this St. Lawrence County community, this and the Citizens (5228). Feb. 3, 1897 saw the receiver take control of the bank.
