Owner's Description

- These were issued towards the end of the Civil War. This rare note is printed on fiber paper. PMG has graded only 38 notes to date. It has lady Justice on the front holding a pair of scales. First released on December 5th of 1864, and printed in sheets of 12 notes, this note with an “a” on the front tells us that it was located on the sheet on the top row either the middle or far right on the sheet. This note has good margins on the front, but with the back close on the top margin and just cut into the left margin on the back.
