Owner's Description

A beautiful 50 Livres, large note with colorful designs. Similar to Pick 18 but with French instead of Arabic text. Front showing Beiteddine Palace that was built between 1788 and 1818 when Lebanon was part of the Ottoman Empire. Bacchus temple in Baalbek is on the back, surrounded with wheat, grapes, and figs. The temple of Bacchus is a UNESCO Heritage Site that was built by the Romans in the second century.
