Philipsburg, PA - The Moshannon NB Ch. # (E)5066 PMG 15 1882 $20 Date Back Fr. 552 SN 4679/K633037 pp B/68 dtd. May 8, 1897. A pleasing, moderately circulated note that is the only $20 Date Back in the census for this scarce Centre County bank. This note features solid margins, good color, and bold pen signatures of Chas. G. Avery, Cashier and J.N. Schoonover, President. Philipsburg is on Rt. 322 W of State College/Penn State Univ. Black Moshannon Lake is in Black Moshannon State Park, near Philipsburg, PA.
