Owner's Description

Ornate back $5 Treasury Note. General George H. Thomas graces the obverse and is best remembered as the "Rock of Chickamauga", for his stout defensive stand that allowed an orderly retreat of other Union forces who would ultimately win the Battle of Chattanooga.
