Owner's Description

A green paper denomination issued in 1998 features decorative patterns on the front, along with a 2mm intermittent silver thread displaying "Bahrain Monetary Agency" and a colorful hologram. The designs highlight the contrast between past and present transportation methods. The front depicts a beautiful sailing vessel, historically used for fishing, pearl diving, and trade until internal combustion engines arrived in the 1920s and 1930s. The back features the Bahrain-Saudi Arabia Bridge, a 25-kilometer modern wonder that took 25 years of planning and 4.5 years of construction before its official opening on November 26, 1986.
