Owner's Description

3 lei 1966 was used from 1966 to 1992, one of the longest series in circulation in modern times. The Banknote has a nice guilloche design with Romania coat of arms. The banknote size is 114 x 57 mm, was issued on paper with rhombuses pattern watermark by the National Bank of Romania. This banknote circulated for a brief time being replaced by a 3 lei coin; thus is the most expensive banknote in the series, the series ranges from 0001 to 0011 were only issued with narrow letter in the prefix. The banknote is graded 68 EPQ, it is a Top Pop banknote. Personal Note: During my childhood I have received 3 lei banknotes especially during Christmas.
