.... When the 500 Piso was first conceived in the 1980's, Ferdinand E. Marcos' portrait was on the first Specimens printed, but because of the people power revolution, it was Benigno Aquino Jr. who graced the first P500 issued in 1987,
(it was a real "slap in the face" to the Marcos clan).
And now we have the son of Ninoy's murderer signing the P500 note.
Honestly, I really don't think Cory and Ninoy would be impressed.
