Owner's Description

A banknote issued in 1979, it is characterized by its blue color. It shares most of the front design with the rest of the series, but what sets it apart is the image of the minaret of Al-Khamis Mosque on the front. The distinguishing feature of the back design retained from the first issue is a miniature view of two pearl-diving boats during a diving expedition, which was regarded as one of the main professions of the people of Bahrain.
