Maryland $1/9 MD-49 PMG VF-25: March 1, 1770 Resolution Set #7 / 2nd Series to use Dollar Denomination

This MD-49 VF-25 ($1/9) Note is an excellent example with a large portion of the Counterfoil still intact and is the second highest in grade. The specimen makes for an excellent addition to my specialized 1770 Resolution Series Set. The Maryland Colonial General Assembly authorized 18,000 of this denomination. As of the time of this writing, PMG has graded only five (5) MD-49 specimens with just one (1) in higher grade. This issue is somewhat special as Anne Catharine Green render her full name on this Note. The only other time she render her full name on a Note would be four years later with the MD-60 $1/9 of April 10 – 1774 series.
