William A. Julian was the 28th Treasurer of the United States, serving from June 1, 1933 until his death on May 29, 1949. He was appointed by President Franklin D. Roosevelt and continued into the administration of President Harry S. Truman.

William H. Woodin was the 51st Secretary of the Treasury, serving from March 5, 1933 to December 31, 1933. He was appointed by President Franklin D. Roosevelt.
