Ivy Baker Priest was the 30th Treasurer of the United States, serving from January 28, 1953 to January 29, 1961. She was appointed by President Dwight D. Eisenhower and continued into the administration of President John F. Kennedy.

George M. Humphrey was the 55th Secretary of the Treasury, serving from January 21, 1953 to July 29, 1957. He was appointed by President Dwight D. Eisenhower.
