High Grade!
The tolar was the currency of Slovenia from October 1991 until the introduction of the euro in January 2007. The definitive tolar banknotes—which were issued starting in late 1992—were brightly colored and famous for celebrating prominent historical figures in Slovenian arts, science, and politics.
The obverse depicts Jacobus Gallus, a late-Renaissance music composer of Slovene ethnicity.
The reverse displays the Slovenian Philharmonic Hall and musical notation.
