Owner's Description

This Venezuela specimen note represents the 1991 Banco Central de Venezuela 1000 Bolívares, cataloged by PMG as Pick #73s1 and certified Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ.

The note features a prominent portrait of Simón Bolívar at left, paired with elegant red, burgundy, and multicolor security design elements across the face. The large central 1000 denomination and script “Mil Bolívares” title give the note strong visual presence, while the background includes historical text and fine anti-counterfeiting detail associated with Venezuela’s early 1990s banknote production.

As an official specimen, this example carries specimen-style serial formatting, including A00000000 04377, along with a bold red diagonal “SPECIMEN” overprint. PMG also notes the watermark as S. Bolívar. The printed issue date on the note is Agosto 08, 1991.

The 66 EPQ grade confirms this as a high-quality Gem Uncirculated example with exceptional paper quality, strong originality, and excellent eye appeal.
