Owner's Description

This Venezuela specimen note represents the 2013 Banco Central de Venezuela 10 Bolívares, cataloged by PMG as Pick #90ds and certified Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ.

Printed by CMV, this note is part of Venezuela’s Bolívar Fuerte series and features Cacique Guaicaipuro, the Indigenous Venezuelan leader, in a modern vertical-format design. The orange, violet, and earth-toned color palette gives the note strong visual character, while the updated security elements reflect Venezuela’s redesigned modern currency system.

As an official specimen, this example carries the serial format T00000000 0998, a red diagonal “MUESTRA SIN VALOR” overprint, and specimen marking Muestra Nr. 0998. PMG also notes the watermark as C. Guaicaipuro & 10. The printed date shown on the note is 29 de Octubre de 2013.

The 66 EPQ grade confirms this as a Gem Uncirculated example with exceptional paper quality, strong originality, clean surfaces, and excellent overall eye appeal. As a certified specimen from the Bolívar Fuerte series, this note helps document Venezuela’s post-redenomination currency system before the severe inflationary period and later monetary reforms.

This note is a strong addition to the Planet Banknote Venezuela Specimen Collection: Bolívar to Bolívar Digital, preserving an official PMG-certified specimen example from one of Venezuela’s most important modern currency design eras.
