Owner's Description

I believe this is my actual first note I ever collected. I did not start collecting until 2010. As a kid and young man, I collected coins primarily. However, I had a friend whose Father had all kinds of first day cancelled stamps, post cards etc...He let me rummage and take what I wanted. I took care of this note for years keeping it in pristine condition. When I started collecting in earnest, I decided to send this in for grading. Although this note was never circulated, it received the AU 55 grade! I thought for years through the 80's, 90's and 2000's, this was a rare note that must be really valuable. When I had it slabbed and finally researched it, I realized it did have value! Around $2!
