Owner's Description

This note is the second printing (printed 1920) with a single 'specimen' overprint. I also have an example of the first printing (printed 1918) with two 'specimen' overprints (see: 2085508-003/65) but the PMG Census (and the 'competitive sets') are based on the now outdated Krause/Pick catalogue entries which has only a single entry combining both the 1918-dated issues. I *think* the 1920 printing is much rarer than the 1918 but since PMG doesn't break the types down in the Census it is not possible for a collector to know how many of each printing PMG has certified.
