Owner's Description

Bought as a consecutive pair. The kind that were more or less stuck together. The centering is not fantastic so I thought I would grade one to have in the registry and leave his brother as a raw note. I thought it was clearly a 64 EPQ or maybe 63 without EPQ moniker since the embossing didn't jump off the paper. I was shocked when this grade came in. A 55? It only reaffirms that grading has a large margin for error as the notes were clearly uncirculated. It almost seemed like 55 was an arbitrary selection. I believe PMG should explain criteria for their grading. We pay good money and end up with no explanation. It is still a nice note, cean white fields, nice green tone for the bracelet and clear red seal.
