1000-Baht commemorative banknotes are similar in characteristics and size to the 1000-Baht banknotes, 15th Series, in circulation. The difference is that this type of banknote is affixed with the special Royal Crest commemorating the occasion of His Majesty's sixth cycle birthday anniversary celebration of December 5, 1999 in place of the Privy Seal.
